"Why does everybody keep expecting me to know how these things work?" Jack sighed, dropping the papers on the table next to his breakfast. "What is it?" his new wife Amelia bent over to look at them."Somebody's new airship design, I suppose," Jack answered, pushing the schematics her way. "I think he's looking for investors. I'm not sure why people think I know anything about this stuff. I mean, I can fly them, I can steal them, that doesn't mean I can build them.""Well it's an unorthodox design," she mused as she flipped through the pages, "but if it works it would be faster than anything else I've seen in the air." Amelia looked up at him, seeming to wait.

"What is it?"

"Are you interested?"

"Well when you say fastest ship in the air I certainly am, but I made you a promise."

She laughed at that. "You promised to be reasonable, not dull, Jack. I'd very much like to meet the young person responsible for this design, and I could leverage some of my investments to fund it."

Oh, yes. Marrying Amelia had been the right decision for a whole host of reasons.
